Let’s start with CHICKEN SAUSAGE WITH PASTA & HERBS Recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil.
  • 2 Medium Sweet Green Peppers (sliced).
  • 1 Medium Onion (cut in half and sliced).
  • 4 Garlic Cloves (minced).
  • 1 Packet Zorabian Chicken Sausage, cut lengthwise and sliced.
  • 2 Tablespoons Vinegar.
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt.
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper.
  • 2 Tablespoons Minced Fresh Parsley.
  • 2 Teaspoons Minced Fresh Rosemary.
  • Hot Cooked Spiral Pasta.
  • Shredded Parmesan Cheese.

METHOD:

In a large pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add Green peppers and onion; cook and stir for 6-8 minutes or until crisp tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Remove from pan.

In the same pan, heat the remaining oil over medium-high heat. Add sausage; cook and stir until browned. Stir in pepper mixture, vinegar, salt, and pepper; heat through. Stir in herbs. Serve with pasta; sprinkle some Shredded Parmesan cheese.

Here are our second quick recipe CHICKEN SAUSAGE PITA POCKETS.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 Teaspoons Olive Oil.
  • 1 Packet Zorabian Chicken Sausage (cut in sliced).
  • 1 Cup Sliced Fresh Mushrooms.
  • 1 Small Onion (halved and sliced).
  • 1 Medium Zucchini, cut in half lengthwise and sliced.
  • 1 Medium Cucumber, cut in half lengthwise and sliced.
  • 3 Tablespoons Chopped Fresh Basil.
  • 8 Whole Wheat Pita Pocket cut in half and warmed.
  • Optional if required: Sliced Tomato and Plain Greek Yogurt.

METHOD:

In a large nonstick pan, heat 2 teaspoons of oil over a medium-high flame. Add sausage; cook and stir for 4-5 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from pan.

In the same pan, heat 2 teaspoons of oil over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and onion; cook and stir for 4-5 minutes or until tender. Remove from pan.

Add remaining oil to the pan. Add zucchini and cucumber; cook and stir for 3-5 minutes or until tender. Stir in basil, sausage, and mushroom mixture; heat through. Serve in pitas. If desired, add tomato and yogurt and enjoy!

Our third and final recipe is CHICKEN SAUSAGE GYROS.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Packet Zorabian Chicken Sausage (cut in sliced).
  • 1 Cup Reduced-Fat Sour Cream.
  • 1/4 Cup finely Chopped Cucumber.
  • 1-1/2 Teaspoons Red Wine Vinegar.
  • 1-1/2 Teaspoons Olive Oil.
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder.
  • 4 Whole Wheat Pita Bread (6 inches).
  • 1 Fresh Tomato (sliced).
  • 1/2 Small Onion (thinly sliced).

DIRECTIONS:

In a large pan coated with cooking spray, cook sausage over medium heat until heated through.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the sour cream, cucumber, vinegar, oil, and garlic powder. Serve chicken sausage on pita bread with tomato, onion, and cucumber sauce.
